why are they free …. My Democrat friends along with Adam Kinzinger would beg to differ, …. Did you catch that speech at the DNC ? …. Not the Donald bashing but the American Waving Patriotic attitude. It did shine through and was encouraging …… Even if it’s not validated by some, the fact is ! It’s very much believably true. ….. no guarantees when humans are considerably concerned more about others behaviors than they are with their own and that imposition on both sides IMHO MAKES for a mediocre Shepard at best. ( I kinda lost myself there for awhile , but I think I’m back )

I'm concerned when others determine what behaviors I'm "allowed" to have. That's why I won't vote Democrat or socialist.
I'll get an electric car when I want one, not because the government limits gas vehicles or raises the gast tax to force me to get one.
I'll hire 3 gay Hispanics, two African American women, one American Indian and 1/2 of an Asian quadriplegic because they are good workers, not because they fit the governments mandated equality standards.
(The 1/2 of an Asian dude will obviously work in the office)

I've never paid much attention to Kennedy as a contender, so honestly, I never knew his focus on any particular subject.
Once he started favoring Trump and me listening more to his passion, health any nutrition has been his big thing. Nothing says that better that his focus on autism. If these numbers are accurate he's obviously on to something. Something the media pays zero attention to.
I just haven't listened to him much.
They ignored Kennedy and trashed Trump for obvious reasons. They want Biden, now Harris to win. This is our media, picking our winners as if that's their job.

I’m concerned when individuals think that others actually have the ability to determine your behavior…… The key is self determination, self responsibility and self discipline. It allows us to turn the key and drive our own car with out fearing over outside influences changing us with out our permission. When another car driver waves you out into traffic, do you go, or do you confirm on your own that it’s safe ? ….. Same thing with personal belief and behavior. When the Jehovah Witnesses show up, I know who I am, through self Determination. I remain polite with self responsibility, and when they push a little harder, I become as assertive as they are with self Discipline. Fearing not, at this time, there will be any power or influence over my behavior with out my discernible permission….. This is a goal that I would like to pursue, how about you ?

If you’re planning tyranny, at least don’t put it in writing. That seems to be the guiding principle behind the Harris-Walz administration’s 2024 Democratic Party Platform. In terms of gun control, their once radical ideas are now missing or appear watered down.

The campaign platform includes its gun control plans, called “Protecting Communities & Tackling the Scourge of Gun Violence.”

According to the platform, the Democrats want:

Universal background checks
“Assault weapon” and standard-capacity magazine bans
Mandatory safe-storage laws
Repeal of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act
Increased red-flag laws
Increased funding for the ATF
Increased funding for the FBI, to conduct more background checks
Increased funding for the CDC, “because the gun violence epidemic is a public health crisis”
Most of these ideas are unconstitutional, and all have been floated before. They’re bad enough, but the real issue is what was not included in the platform, because if Harris and Walz told voters their true intent, they’d never get elected.

No I don't agree with red flag laws. You are considered guilty and must prove your innocence. Most major cities with gangs, they commit most gun crimes, are controlled by Democrats. The prosecutors in those cities don't enforce gun laws. Lock up the gang bangers first. Enforce the 10,000 gun laws already on the books. Look at the form 4473, the one you fill out to buy a gun. Less than 2% of the people who lie on that form, a felony, are ever prosecuted.
My state, Missouri, does not have a red flag law.
