Was up with the sun this morning...
Once it came up really put on a show with the fog in the marsh...
Ran into this guy once the sun came up and he was giving me the "stink eye"...

Couple of really nice ones. When I was camping and photoing.... I loved the early mornings before the sun was totally awake.
Hardly any wind the last few days. Not so good when forestry land nearby is being burnt clean before rains set in good.
I worked 30 miles north today and on the way home a had to make a .2 tenths mile detour to check the Winchester Bay Marina. Damn, I wished I'd been there even 5 or 10 minutes earlier. There would have been more color in the sky and water.
No complaints tho. The Pixel 8 camera is fairly decent considering it's a phone. Not sure if be doing 16 by 20's with it.

At $370, I can't afford the local courses.Amateur landscapes of Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon Pa. ( Shot on I-phone 10) The photos do not give it justice.
I shot 5 pars on the front ninebut only shot 1 par on the back nine
...then add in $100 for the caddie plus gratuities. Naw, $600 per round is outta my league.
Oh wait! I just won the Powerball tomorrow night.
.....I'll just take that old beater, my Gulfstream 550, 23 miles south to Bandon Dunes. I totally forgot that I can afford stuff like this now.

From this morning's walk on the trail I'm a steward on...
Working through editing some of my backlog...a Cayuga duck preening on an ice-covered pond. Taken back in January.
Arrowhead Marsh, where I'm a volunteer trail steward. The sky was just gorgeous yesterday morning. We had rain move through last night and early this morning. This was the start of the clouds moving in.
This leaf jumped out at my like a road cone while doing my trail inspection yesterday...
This Red-headed woodpecker lives in this particular tree. He always makes it a point to come out and give me the once-over whenever I'm walking my trail.

And I love walking trails lined with tall grass. Thanks for sharing, I’ll try to walk one today.
