I did that (AAAAA) also back then and don't know of any issues since then. My daughter had this going on several months ago and I told her about the 5-A thingy and she hasn't had any problems since then either. Maybe it does work.:D

    Hot

High here today was 102 but that is at the small airport with grassy fields. In town with paved streets and masonry buildings the signs on the banks are reporting 107, that's closer to the actual temperature. The damned dew point is about 68 right now. We have this to look forward to until...

The gypsum product MUST be removed in its entirety before anything can move forward. There is no method recognized by the industry for working with the product in its present condition. What was done previously would not be the measures that should have been taken at that time. Bad uninformed...

    Old tile kitchen floor replacement

Gheeezh...only two options? One would think there would be more than only two options. "Only two options" sounds pretty difinitive, so I guess that's the end of the discussion.:D Oh wait!!! There may in fact be more than "only two options".

    Ceramic tile over unknown subfloor

Now see...that right there is the problem. Mis-informed!!! CDX is the junk of the junk, the cheap of the cheap, even tho you may not see the interior knot holes and cut-outs they are there. Knot holes are voids, voids are movement, movement is disaster. This has been common knowledge...

    Ceramic tile over unknown subfloor

CDX plywood in a tile foundation? Are ya kiddin' me? Why would a "membrane" be pointless in a kitchen?

    Ceramic tile over unknown subfloor
