That's very much like the NZ Standards document for carpet installtion.
It always humours me when I read about 'placement of seams'.
Sure, we can do what we can with seam placement, but at the end of the day carpet is manufactured a certain width, and as I explain to customers -
"Sure, we could place the seams in different locations, but instead of one seam in this room there will be three, oh and by the way, you will need to buy three times the amount of carpet you actually need".
