I had a contractor friend call me , to see if I wanted to install a floating LVP in a basement . It is approximately 600' , I said Sure (I love that stuff). He did not know the manufacturer so he sent me this pic.
They bought the material from direct buy ( I think they got a free bowl of soup with purchase .
They were told they should use an underlayment under the lvp ,because of the concrete floor. I have literally installed miles of LVT/LVP , with a fair amount over concrete and have never used any kind of underlayment .
What are your thoughts
I'm going to go up tomorrow to look the job over .
They have never had any moisture issues with the concrete.View attachment ImageUploadedByFlooring Forum1455384760.205832.jpg
