Oh, I like sparkly stuff. Sure hope that 2018 is sparkling good for all of us. I absolutely do not want to see another 2017.

That stinks. What we are having isn't unusual weather for now, tho it is a couple degrees warmer than it has been.

We could be 5 or 10 degrees cooler than what it shows here for this week and still call it "normal" No 5' snow drifts happen or rivers and lake freeze here............. well, not often.
We never get remotely close to what you guys consider normal.

I forgot about that............. he's not far from home is he?
It's afternoon down there right now. Just finished watching the news showing the morons that have been standing in Times Square for 6 hours. I bet they won't do it again.

Happy New Year everyone. I hope that it is much better than 2017.

Same to you Angie. Thanks for all you do that goes unoticed here.
I didn't even notice it was 1 minute away from midnight.................. until it was like ......1 minute til midnight. :D
No balls dropping here, no fireworks, no gunfire, no dunkin fun and foolishness. Crap, I'm gettin old. :D

Had to go out for a little while. W C is -5, supposed to hit -20 by morning. Have to pick up my stepson at work at 7 am.
After a nice week, we're getting closer to normal. It's 1am and 36 degrees, so I suppose it will end up near 32 this morning.
If we had what you have, Oregon would have a literal state wide disaster on it's hands. We are just not prepared for that in any way shape or form. In my 60 years, I've seen 9 degrees once, and a temperature of less than 20 degrees probably happened twice in the past 30 years. I just can't imagine that kind of weather.
Happiest of New Years to everyone of my buddies here. I'd be lost without ya.
