They seem to be having water level issues at the moment. I don't know if your trip is where it is effected?

I just saw the news report tonight. It appears massive flash flooding in the southern region of France. We will be close to the English channel on the north end of the country. I honestly hope that river flows from north to south, or we might be in big trouble!

Hope it all works for you. Trouble with these river cruises Too much water and they can't go under the road bridges, not enough water and the boats can't float

Jon, I contacted Viking Cruises and they said the flash floods were not affecting our trip in any way. If so, we would have received a notification last week with the option to reschedule.

Ern, it is to pay my respects to all the WWII soldiers who were killed during DDay at Normandy. My uncle, a B17 pilot was killed while landing his plane after it was shot to pieces, is buried nearby and is also on my list to visit.

Say hi to my uncle who was killed his first day in battle. Kid was a great young Italian American and 19 yrs old.

Pvt. Albert C. Perrera is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery Linwood PA. But his name is on a wall over there somewhere.

Today is the last day here. Going to the Palace of Versailles. Trip is ok, but the food on Viking really sucks. We only had escargo on the first day. Some pics...
