I just refinished the floor....sanded all, 1 coat of clear oil polyurethane followed by 2nd coat. This was done with a roller....lots of bubbles. So, to fix the bubbles I lightly sanded all of the floor and applied another coat with a lambswool applicator. This left no bubbles and floor looked great, until I found a few spots where the applicator was either too dry or I just missed them since I was doing this in artificial light.
So I took the chance and attempted to lightly brush on poly over these dull spots that I missed. Now those spots are more shiny then the rest of the floor. Lightly sanding it does not get rid of the shine.
How can I fix this? Is there anything else besides lightly sanding/buffing the entire floor and recoating again?
Any quick solution just for those spots?
Thank You
