Another great Jay Leno segment!
They just announced today that Jay Leno is in fact going to be replaced after this year. Well, this channel can now be eliminated from my TV line up, since The Tonight Show was the only thing I watched on the channel.

Yep. I hated Conan and don't think that Fallon is good at all. Guess I can try Letterman, but I never found him funny.
Fallon is one of the more talented people out there. He's like Letterman tho........ his style is you love him, or can't stand him.
He's goofy like Letterman, but actually has talent. He could easily make it as a musician if he needed to.
Letterman used to be goofy and fun 'till he went off the deep end politically. Nothing better (speaking as a guy) than watching a 200,000 Lb metal press slowly flatten 6 dozen packages of hot dogs and six packs of beer. The monkey cam was another good one. or watching 200 lbs of super balls or cans of paint getting dumped off the top of a building
Leno totally F'd over Conan, but what ever. If I was Fallon I would not trust Leno as far as I could spit at him. Fallon would be better than anyone else. I actually like his sense of humor. Cept I can't stay up that late.
Leno has some good writers, maybe they will be on a show like Conan is.

If Conan was so wonderful, NBC would have booted J to the moon.
Conan is a freekish version of some sort of human species. He's a Ringling Brothers side show.......... that tall guy with nothing to do other than stand there........ and be tall. Makes me glad that I can't afford cable. One less channel to skip over.
On the other side, I have not seen him since Leno so rightfully regained his throne. Maybe Conan has actually figured out how to be funny.
Like Leno, Letterman, or Fallon ............. that kind of humor or personality ..........you either love em, or hate em. I can't say any of them is truly good or bad..........
............except for Conan.

OK, after my rant............. Leno often has some real groaners in his monologue, so no, he ain't perfect.
last couple of years ive been watching chelsea lately at 11 on e ---not always funny but what is ---wife wont watch cuz she is too filthy --she says its guys humor

Loved when Carson interviewed older people. He always asked what they attributed their good health to.
Old lady:
I never drink wine or alcohol, I eat right and I go to church every Sunday.
Old guy:
I smoke a cigar after dinner every night and I have a couple shots of whiskey before I go to bed.
Carson barely dabbled in politics, so he never alienated his audience. I recall that in an interview he told Barbwa that once you pick sides politically on your show, you lose 1/2 your audience. There wasn't much about him to dislike. He worked 5 nights a week too.

I know its hard for some people to pick up on Conans intelectual sense of humor since it is slightly above most peoples IQ.

whitney used to be on chelseas panel---her sitcom is good but she has a talk show on e called love ya --mean it ----which i think is actually obscene---i believe i recall a contest where girls tried to keep liquid in their mouths the longest
Just personal taste. To me he came off as a creepy and awkward 'humorist' His jokes and facial gestures are just odd ......weird. Maybe he's gotten better. Like was said about Carson. Comparing Conan to Carson would be like comparing ice cream to used motor oil. ...to Letterman, new motor oil. to Leno, a BLT and to Fallon............... I don't know yet........... Key Lime yogurt?
I guess we will see in about a year.
