I found water and mold damage on and under engineered wood, which is glued onto concrete slab. There was a chair mat on the floor which hid the issue. My HOA determined the leak was from exterior wall crack where a small roof joins it. My HOA patched the crack and replaced some dry wall and insulation, but will not contribute to the flooring repair. I have removed most of the damaged flooring, but am hiring a flooring contractor to removing the remaining damaged flooring and patch it (about 6'x10'). Anyone DIY mold remediation? I have been using Concrobium, am thinking about fogging the sheeted off area after the flooring contractor removes and preps the flooring, allowing it to dry over the weekend before they install the flooring. Any advice appreciated.
