Nailing 3/4 T&G Under Toe Kick

I'm finishing up an installation of 5" hickory in our kitchen and I'm now at the toe kick course. I'm stapling and using serpentine urethane glue assist with not vapor barrier, per Mullican's instructions. How do I fasten the last course? I can't get anything in there to nail it. Can I simply glue it down? The last strip will be about 4" wide.

Just glue will do you just fine

Pre drill and hand nail if you’re worried about it.

Glue it & be done with it.
Might have to strap them if the 5" planks are anything like the crap quality I get in my area.
