I totally forgot about that stuff, so I googled it and came across another one. Space food sticks. I wished that I had some last night as I watched Lost in pace. :D

Dad was a delivery driver for Coke and my brother and I got one of these. You put a 10 oz bottle inside and the lever tipped the bottle up and down to fill those tiny glasses. The fizz was gone after the first couple of shots from the bottle rocking back and forth and it got warm easy so you had to drink it fast.

Guys you're really showing your age. So far I don't recognize any of these.

Speak and spell. Simon says. Six million dollar man action figure and lite bright.

I gained a new TV channel on my cup and string today. The "ME" channel.
It's got a the old 60's programs on it. A lot of stuff I haven't seen since I was Opie's age. ;)
They don't make TV like that anymore............ I guess that's why I became an internet junkie. So much noise and junk on TV these days. Those old shows went slow and steady and many carried messages.
The "ME" channel has oldies like Andie Griffith, Leave it to Beaver, and The Rifleman. They all do something that today's shows don't do.
As kids we loved those shows.......... not realizing at the time that each episode was a learning experience. The learning was subtle and simple, but as a kid, you absorbed the message. Respect adults, be polite and respect others and that your actions have consequences.
The only more recent shows since those old ones that were sitcoms of similar design, were The Cosby Show and Home Improvement............. the one with Tim the tool guy.
Seems like the stuff kids learn from TV went downhill a long, long time ago. And we wonder what kids turn out the way they do.
I was fortunately brainwashed by those oldies.
............."Gee Mrs Cleaver, your hair looks real pretty today"
Haven't seen My Three Sons for decades, but it was the same. Kinda fun watching the slow pace of these old shows............ they're still pretty fun to watch.
