Slide out shelf

I was wondering if you guys might be able to give me some ideas on this little project.
I was trying to figure out a way I could make a slide out shelf , for my cordless chopsaw.
I normally setup my saw on its stand.
I was thinking sometimes I just have one or two pieces of quarter round or transitions to cut , or if it is raining out I would be able to cut the material right inside my trailer .
I would like the shelf to be able to lock so it does not slide out while I was driving . The shelf is 24” wide and I think if it slid out 18-20” I’d would be good. The saw weighs 45 lbs.

My only thought would be to look at the design for the slide-out appliance shelves made by Rev-A-Shelf or one of those companies (Knape & Vogel or something like that is another I think). I do better with diagrams than with words so I'm trying to visualize it. I think there are locking glides/slides.. Question would be if you want undermount or side mount ones.

I would think that would be a simple build. Just get shelf or drawer glide that are rated for the weight of your saw amd make shelf to size and install glides. The destructions will tell you how much clearance you have to have for it to work. Easy stop would be drill hole in shelf and into frame work and put a bolt in or some kind of locking mechanism.

I would say probably go for at least double the weight of the saw since there will be material being put on it & it might get pushed down on while cutting.
There are some glides that come with locks on them but they were expensive-- over $150 just for the glides, but I think they held something like 500lbs.
