Used laptop

Going to look at a used laptop in the morning. Guy wants $100. It's three years old, W 8.1 Toshiba, 16" screen 6 GB ram. Touch screen. I figure it is worth that as a backup.

You should be able to upgrade it to 10.

Ugh, I don't like 10. Probably just put Start8 on it and maybe add some RAM.

If it just has 8 on it download 8.1 .

10 is a lot better then 8.

It is 8.1. It works great. Where would I find a safe download of IE 11? It only had Chrome on it and I downloaded Firefox.

One is for 32 bit , the other 64 .

I found IE in the programs and got it to open, but it opens through Chrome. Weird huh? I changed the password, but so far can't get his name off stuff. Went into the registry and changed it, but it didn't work.

Thanks, Nick, but I finally found it. What anti virus are you using. I put AVG free on here and have already had 4 popups from them trying to sell me stuff. And the new AVG Zen, doesn't have a scan button.

I sent you 07 , I believe . I sent so many CD'S to the members of that site , I really don't remember which one . There is not much difference anyway.

Have you tried 2016 365? It is horrible. I had to have it for my classes.
