Just wondering what is recommended for computers. I just took my laptop in and had 63 viruses. It wouldn't open up anything. I had Avast the free one.

Nick just had me run one called Sopha It found a virus that AVG missed.

Sophas is just for cleaning . Not to be used as your antivirus software .

I switch off every month or so just to test . I been running Bit Defender for the last two months . Not a problem , and has a small footprint .

Sophos worked on my W7, won't run on Vista, just freezes

Floorist , run R kill, It may be a virus freezing it . R kill will stop the virus from running .

Problem with that site is there are 6 different download tabs on the page. You pick the incorrect one and you will get more crap on your computer. Why do they purposely do this?
