Maybe chicken soup doesn't help, but yelling at it and calling it a "stupid damn cpu" seems to help.

I pet mine and call it baby when she's acting up. Mostly only when I reboot, I get an error message and that dang black screen.

What does the message say E ? I can fix those problems for ya .

I can't remember Nick. But its the one that says there's an error and it won't boot, unlike the other I get like when there's a surge and the xonfuser gets shut off and automatically boots up in 10 seconds. How would one copy that page or message?

I find that a big hammer is most effective fixing computer problems.

Hit the Print screen , that will copy your desktop to the clipboard .

Open one of you photo programs , check edit at top of page , check paste , save as .

Cool, I wan't aware any programs would work if the confuser won't boot up.

The confuser has to boot up to your desktop to do the above post .

You can try booting in safe mode by taping the F8 key till you hear it beep.
Scroll up to safe mode with internet connectivity, press enter . Give it a minute to boot the basic drivers .

Try unplugging the confuser for 30 seconds , plug it back in , and see if it will boot then.

Are you getting any beeps when you Boot ? How many ?
If you can get into safe mode ,Let me know ,I will send you free software to download and run so i can see what is causing the issue .
