Suddenly I am very hesitating about choosing color of wood flooring.
Existing wood flooring (upper floors and staircase) is solid white oak, lower floor is carpet.
I would like to replace carpet with engineered wood flooring. The color of the wall of lower floor is much darker than that of white oak.
If I choose a color close to the color of white oak, then the color of floor will be very different from that of wall.
If I choose a color close to the color of wall, then the color of floor will be very different from that of existing wood flooring, especially the color of staircase connecting lower floor.
I tend to choose a color close to white oak, a darker flooring make room look dark too.
Anyone has any opinions?
Thanks.
