As a kid we had a Sunday ritual of watching Disney every Sunday and those Charlie Brown cartoons at our Godparents house up the street .......even as an almost old geezer, those old reruns of Charlie Brown are still pretty good compared to a lot of things on TV.

I just watched the Charlie brown Xmas , And Xmas Story the other night ..
Brought back memories of driving my Dad's 48 Chevy to College at night , and how bad the defrosters were .. LOL

Had a old ford like that .. Had to wait for my feet to thaw out ..

Same wishes from me. I was a newbie to reading the newspaper near the time the war ended. I had a paper route and read the news as I was walking to the start of the route.
When I was in grade school, Mom sent me to school on the last day before Christmas with a loaf of her fantastic banana bread as a thank you (bribe) to my teachers.
There has never been a better tasting banana bread made in the history of the world....... never!
On that note, a cool story.
