Anywho, I was introduced to something I never really heard before, that worry is actually a sin 🤷🏻♂️ who would have thought 💭 …… So ! I confronted him about the 40 minute rant he was having prior to his delivery about worrying. He defended and deflected, but maybe today he’s reconsidering ?
This morning I googled Bible and worry and found some interesting reading.

Worry is sin so therefore I shouldn’t worry about… anything? Because by doing so would be a sin? You only worry about someone if you care about them so worry and care must be the same, or close enough. So now I shouldn’t waste my time caring about you because to do so would be a sin?
And people wonder why I don’t give a F about anything😂

The Bible is quite complex and confusing I agree wholeheartedly.
Think of it this way, when we hunger for answers and get the opposite one, we have worry, and we are all sailing on the same right and wrong Huge ass container vessel. Somewhat separated into different categories. Repubs in the blue bins, Dems in Red, subdivision containers of different Races and ethnic communities, you get the picture. If we rock the boat during times were the appetite is ravenous for like minded category answers , then we may sink during the food frenzy 🤷🏻♂️ ……Now ! Ironically in the pursuit for improvement, let’s dabble in the realm of right, but not wrong. Wait a minute! HOLD THE PRESSES ! ! 🤪 could this be an improvement on right / wrong thinking, by only holding onto one or the other, not both ? Does it make sense to say “ I’m Right but you’re not wrong “ or “ I’m Wrong but you’re not Right “ 🤷🏻♂️ ….. anywho, I believe Worry and Caring are different, maybe more trials are still needed to get there 🤷🏻♂️
I do too but twisting things around and calling something it’s not is as American as cherry pie.

One of the problems with the Bible is that preachers teach what they were taught, not what it actually says. I have read the Bible from end to end twice and most of the Quran. And no, I am not a religious person. There are over 500 recognized religions. Even the 10 commandments was changed during the translation from the original Hebrew. For example, "Thou shall not kill" was Thou shall not murder" in the original Hebrew. Quite a difference, when you think about it. Mary was a "maiden" not a "virgin", in the original Hebrew. A maiden was any unmarried female who was at least 12.

Ok ! Popcorn sprinkled with Avocado oil and Daura Damm Barcelona 1876 Lager 🍺 😎 has spring boarded this follow up thought on worry. It’s probably going to sound more secular than Biblical, but as of now, that’s kinda how I roll- out 🙃 the Carpet 😜……. What is worry at its core ?
It’s probably about uncertainty happening now and a projection of the possible outcome (answer) .. It’s a question we are predicting the answer for, when maybe it’s not necessary to do so. 🤷🏻♂️ …. Have ⚠️ caution, act accordingly, but maybe 🤔 if we stop projecting and predicting into the future, maybe we have no or less worry…..In other words: give trust to the power of the universe, and sin no more 😉
