    What did you do today?

Hmmmm.... this looks oddly familiar. Looked so good when I did it the other day, after getting my hardwood installed this afternoon I just kept on going and did the stove pad. Sun just went down and with the rapidset I got about 3 hours until I can put the stove back. Wish me luck! And if...

    What did you do today?

If i gutted it Chris, it would just fall over. This is my "lipstick pig" as it were. Make the wife happy and carry on. I know what I am dealing with and I do not have to bother to make things perfect, just pretty good. I don't know if this happens to any of you but I have a lot of clients say...

    What did you do today?

Yesterday I remembered why I hate this house so very much. Moving forward with my hardwood at home installation, I removed the old hardwood... you know, laid over the commercial carpet, smooth edge and then ramped over some underlayment and vinyl. Yeah, that house. Well I got to my bedroom...

No they aren't. It really is simple when you boil it down. Just a matter of getting in there. You would be fine.

    Hardwood over vinyl plank......?

My shower at home is a direct product of my first time working with kirdi board and a niche.... also so **** grout mapei was selling, their acrylic something something. Tile looks great, half the grout washed out because my kids had a shower too soon. Good thing it's got kirdi board...

I love the hex tile but god damn don't I hate working with them. They are a lot more effort than squares. I miss squares.

Large floor plan - suggested starting point / layout?

The thing is no one does is "by hand" its all just in the brain. Also, after a time, you begin to realize that there is literally nothing you can do so you pick the things that are most important and check those and then just go for it. Tolerance stack up IS a real thing you are right, looks...

Large floor plan - suggested starting point / layout?

Ok, so I get that you put way too much effort into it, but I have to say that what you got out of it is peace of mind :) I see what you did there and other than making what happens in our brains into a graphical representation in a CAD drawing..... thats about it. Glad to see that your house is...

Ok, so I watched his video in a bit more detail instead of skimming it. On a plank that thick, i would be busting out my router too!!

Oh hell no, it works on anything. The key is you have to cut it just below the wear layer, print layer whatever you want to call it. So essentially all you are bending is the print. The set I have up there are an SPC foam attached. I will dig around in my truck and see if I still have the off...
