    Why would you precut tackless. I have never seen of this before. Ive seeen it preformed for a birdcage step that was to be waterfalled. Does your tackless come more than 4 ft long. Ive seen 8' back in the day.

    Beive me, I check very good to see if any wires were down. there weren't. I think that some wiires from the wire above had fine metal wire in the protective jacket that were hanging down was the cause. You would see it arc and then sparks fall off, and of coarse the leaves are falling like rain...

    Bad day yesterday. It was super windy and brought the power lines together that run over the top back of my garage and sparked dropping sparks into the dry leaves catching them on fire and melting the viny siding on the side and back of my garage. I got the fire out before the fire department...

    Seaming Crappy Carpet?

    Try using thermo for sealing, the latex maybe building up on the side of your iron dragging the yarn off as you make the seam. Definitely don't use a star roller with heat, you can use it after it is cooled if you want to blend things.

    I had that little Dirt Devil when doing custom rugs, worked great. But on installs it was a commercial Hoover all the way, had a emptiable cloth bag. Still have it for my own carpet every once in awhile.
