My one laptop that has vista on it is no longer supported by Microsoft. It had Windows Defender as the virus software. Now what?
Next question: My old desktop which is a Dell with Windows 7 hasn't been plugged in in a year. I'm thinking of switching it out with my old laptop. What kind of stuff would I have to go through to do that?

Windows Defender is just a base antivirus . I would delete it and put Avast on it , or bit defender . Both good . Avast a little better .

Take it out through Revo uninstaller. don't touch control panel and take it out from there . leaves to many orfant files .

Download them from Major Geeks .

It is a Dell Vostro computer. I have 4 disks. They came with the computer when it was new. Since have had the hard drive replaced.

1. Drivers and Utilities
2.Windows 7 premium 32 bit reinstallation it says on it.
3 Roxio Creator DE 10.3
4. Worry-Free Business Security Devices

I don't know anything else or what some of these do. I'm not compuker smart.
