I have a 9/16 pre-engineered exotic wood floor for a high-rise application. My two main priorities are sound reduction and a non-squishy floor, hence, the sound control for this adhesive.
Can anyone comment on DriTac 1001 and Roberts 1530. I currently have Roberts 1530 and am second guessing my decision to buy this, but I can return it. However, the R1530 had higher IIC and STC ratings than most all others, but the DriTac came highly recommended from my flooring mfg. When I told them it wasn't available in this area, they said any 3-in-1 will do.
If there really is a big difference between these brands, then I'd like to hold off on starting my flooring and get the right stuff (even though its impossible to find here in Houston). The R1530 was easy to find at a Home Depot.
Any help much appreciated.
