Apple is slowing down old phones so people will buy new ones. They are saying it is to preserve the old battery. But they want to sell you a new $1000 phone instead of an $80 battery.

This is just the beginning .. I still use my flip phone that must be at least 15 yr old .. same battery .. I can get free upgrades to the smart phone but i don't want to..
