Absolutely, if he is guilty of behavior that is detrimental to the game...it is a very broad description, Basically how they banned Pete Rose for life.

Arod doesn't have years. The appeal of his suspension goes before an arbitrator...he/she decides if he goes or stays. If he goes that'll be reason enough for the yankees to void the remainder of his contract. Odds are he'll never step onto a ML field again.
