Bostik solvent

What do you use to remove it from the floor or to clean tools? I know they have special wipes.............. but what's their solvent made of? It can't be that exotic.

I use it, comes in wipes or bottle if you can find it. Its mineral spirits

Pretty sure its xylene.

Bostik says its non-flammable. Xylene is highly combustible.

As is mineral spirits. I only know what it smells like. It smells like xylene. I'm sure there is a trick to making an otherwise combustible liquid non-flammable.

I'm wondering if the "safety solvent" we use to clean up adhesive and seam sealer from carpet is the stuff. It's non flammable.

We used to be able to get a product here which was called White Spirits, which wasn't oil based which would clean off most glues and not damage the product

WD 40 takes a lot of different glues off to .

I've used quite a bit of Bostic glue and it cleans very nicely with clean white rags dampened slightly with denatured alcohol.

Never saw the wipes.

There is such a thing as Green mineral spirits which is non flammable.
