Instead of reading the above, I researched the author, Madelon Sprengnether, and read that she is a Liberal Feminist from Minnesota.

This is itself enough information to ignore her writings.

She has zero balance in her argument. She hates Trump and makes an argument against Trump and none else to make a point in perceived psychology.
Trump in no way shape or form wanted a band of random, unorganized idiot supporters to damage the capitol and achieve absolutely nothing.
If he intended an overthrow or takeover, there would have been a HUGE band of armed military equipment and personnel involved in this "attempted takeover" The Donald does not like failure. He would have been extremely prepared.
To think otherwise is just a brainwashing of simple minds unable to comprehend the complexity and long time it takes to plan for a serious takeover.
This was an in orchestrated ruckus...... and no more.
People so deeply brainwashed into hating Trump were extremely easy to be dupped into thinking this was actually an attempted coup.
Sadly, a very large percentage of Democrats fell into this low thinking category.
It appears many....... MANY, finally understood the spell they were under and woke up.
