DEI is not new. Many years ago, I applied for an SBA loan and was turned down. Loan officer was very honest and told me that I was the wrong color. Said if I was black, I would have got it. And he was black.

What did you do to overcome that challenge ? And would it be safe to say there is still bitterness from that situation?
