There's nothing overly beneficial aside from being a bargaining tool. Both sides have to eventually agree. The sooner the better of course. That's most certainly going to be settled before Trump gets into office since it's being talked about and negotiated now instead of later.

So it is the police's decision if you are praying?
In Germany, an illegal was fined for raping a young girl. After someone publicly called the judge an idiot, that guy was fined more than the rapist. They are fast on the way to communism. Freedom of speech no longer exists there.

That sucks big time and really gets under my skin, but we just can’t will our way through all the injustices.

What we can do is take responsibility for our part, no matter how small or how unjust the justice system may be on us or others and ! Comparing one crime/ judgment to another is only going to make our heads explode …. Do yourself and the world a favor, stop comparing ! It’s so gosh darn tempting but again, we just can’t will it to be as we want it to be. All this doesn’t mean we accept it, it just means we stop complaining and start addressing it constructively….. PS > The fear of Communism imho may actually encourage it. ….. Assertiveness training is the answer. Try to find an adult education class in your area, generally speaking, not addressed directly to you Rusty.

Individually or Politically. Sleepy Joe is just following the lead of the man that came before him Even Steven now.
We have bigger fights and I wish the new President all the best to turn things, a whole lot of things around.

Same in Canadastan and I think the UK. That's why we're so lucky to have Elon owning X and Republicans backing the first and second amendments.
Had we lost the house, Senate and Presidency, we'd immediately head right down that same road.

Even Steven will be when the people who walked into the capitol on January 6th, took photos and casually chatted with the capitol police inside are pardoned.
The ones that broke stuff ought to be pardoned too. They've served enough time anyway.
The ones that fought with the police... I'd like their sentences reviewed to be sure their punishment was fair.
I also want an investigation to find out how many FBI were in the crowd that day in plain cloths. Not just how many, but what they did. They need to be identified during the investigation so we can be reassured they weren't part of the hanky panky going on.
The public shouldn't be allowed to see any video identifying the FBI in the crowd. This info only needs to be seen by the investigating committee behind closed doors.
Christopher Wray still doesn't know (won't comment) because "it's still under investigation" That was his answer to everything he didn't want to answer.
He wouldn't even acknowledge if there were FBI agents in the crowd. There were. We know that.
