This winter season, the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal and Atlantic, among other outlets, have all published articles on the same theme. According to their advice, we should re-don masks to prevent seasonal spread of influenza, RSV, Covid-19 and run-of-the-mill colds. Newscum is certainly involved with the natural gas rate hikes. He appointed the 5 Public Utilities Commission, he has allowed these spikes to occur, because he is trying to force people to use non-existant electricity. He is now removing the tax benefits from installing solar on homes, charging every solar home a user feed for tying to the power grid, and making it illegal to remove yourself from the power grid. A friend of ours is disabled and on SSI. She got a small increase in SSI the 1st. So they cut her food stamps more than what her check increase was. How are they supposed to make it?
My $500 Social Security just went up to $588. In the same letter, my medicare insurance increased $29 per month, making me have a $59 increase in Social Security. Geez, I can now but 2 dozen eggs a month. I'm LIVING LARGE!
Eggs are the #1 thing I'm supposed to cut back on to lower the cholesterol. I've always made myself egg dishes for breakfast on weekends and in a pinch for dinner. But last 18 pack of Large eggs I bought at Stater Brothers was $7.99. Makes it a lot easier to cut down. Yeah, I know............I got the egg white thingamabob in a carton. Yeah.........it's not horrible. But it's not EGGS either. Is it?

Some things just take time to get used to. I'm no health nut, but I bought a carton of artificial sweetener packets. I found that one little packet will do 3 cups of coffee if I'm careful. I just add enough so that I can tell it's there.
It didn't take long to get used to.

On December 12th 2022 at 11:00PM, CCSO received a call about gunshots. They arrived at 11:17 PM, and failing to make contact with the alleged shooter, they obtained a search warrant. According to the press release, and for unknown reasons, there was "potential for a hostage situation". As CCSO didn't have a tactical team, they requested the help of the Cherokee Indian Police SWAT team. Allegedly, at just before 5:00 AM, the SWAT team threw a robot equipped with lights and a camera (clearly seen on video motoring about), waking the residing couple. The man picks up the robot and proceeds to follow the SWAT orders to come outside with his hands up. When he does so unarmed and with full compliance, the SWAT team, possibly mistaking the SWAT robot in his hand for a gun, shoot the man. SWAT clears the building and pulls him out.
According to the press release, the man was charged with "communicating threats" and "resist, obstruct, delay", with more charges potentially following.
