If you have a good antivirus, and firewall you'll be as safe as you can .
These new versions just want to collect more tracking info on you .

I would have to disagree it's just like windows updates your antivirus is only as good if you do your updates. Same with Firefox, chrome ect.

I just let mine auto update. Happens almost every time I turn on the confuzer.

I went ahead and downloaded the latest version last night. Computer seems to be working/behaving better. Not for sure yet, because anything new might create a psychological feeling that it is better simply because it's new.
...until a wheel falls off going around a corner.

Still get the add on warnings at the top of some pages tho........ and it still fails to update them when I try.

I got rid of plugincontainer, so that cant slow down my Flinstone PC any more.
There was one Dom.IPC that was still set to "true"
I set it to false and no more plugincontainer.

I had plugincontainer blocked previously, but they must have added that additional Dom.IPC during an update.
