Google Chrome vs Firefox

What is the advantages/ disadvantages of each. I want to use the talking and picture-like Skype- on Facebook. That way I can talk and see my sisters or whomever at the same time.
I have IE and have had since day one. So this would be a new thing for me. I tried to do it on IE but it told me that I had to have Google or Firefox. I do have Chrome already downloaded but it is not my default so it wouldn't let me do my thing. And I sure would hate like hell having to transfer everything over from IE.

Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
Select Settings. In the "Default browser" section, click Make Google Chrome
the default browser.
I like them both , But i use FF with the google search engine .

You can go to the chrome menu and then settings, down at the bottom click import bookmarks and settings, then your prompted to import all your settings from ie. Works great for me.

I switched from IE to Chrome a few years ago and love it.

I then set up my favorites and it is quick to jump to the other sites.
