Well its Nov the 5th here and our roof is getting bombared with the left over bits of the sky rockets from the neighbours
I reckon the crackers are louder this year and Our two cats are watching all the pretty sky rockets going off Just as well as they are deaf otherwise they would be hiding somewhere

Our 4th of July seems to get louder and longer every year as far as the neighborhood exploding their fireworks all night. Like your cats my old dog is now stone deaf. Younger days that was the one night he was allowed to sleep indoors because he was so frazzled by the explosions we didn't have the heart to leave him out.

Last July 4th I came home in the middle of the Rockets Red Glare......Bombs Bursting In Air...... and that old dog was laying there by the front door so sound asleep I had to step over him to get into the house.

Wish I could sleep like that.
