Damn . I had one last week that was all latex with a touch of face .

I know what you mean by plywood. I had a carpet one time that had so much latex we actually broke it off in chunks from the backing with a hammer.

Do they still mix Georgia clay with the latex or was that always just a myth?

They say there is no dirt in the mix. But we used to get a lot of red colored latex in the carpets. I guess it is ground up marble dust. That's why blades don't last.

Never saw that . I think the reason they don't last anymore is because they are made so cheap. here they sell two different ones from the same company . The cheaper one won't cut butter . I still use the stone . was on a job last week with another Mech and he couldn't believe what he was seeing . Then i showed him how to cut it with the hook knife . he laughed his arse off .
