Considering asking my doctor for a marinol script. I can't tolerate any conventional pain med for my arthritis.
The non THC versions have worked wonders for a fella's wife who hosts a conservative local talk show. He was 99% against any legalization, but when his wife tried it for her arthritis, his image of it changed 100%, tho he wasn't at the point of truing any himself. It apparently works well for a lot of different ailments. No buzz whatsoever and cheaper and safer that what doctors prescribe for many pain issues.
Medical use marijuana was legal before this latest proposition. This new law will just allow the mexican Cartels to become richer, crimes will again increase, and we will have more folks killed on the road due to impaired drivers. The pothead liberals, who have never held down a job, will now have something to do in their spare time.
The main thing that concerned me about the Oregon vote was edibles. I'm still not a fan that edibles were included in the legalization. I'm unsure about that part of the law. Such things as.............
What's the potency
per gummy bear?
Kids like gummy bears and would never miss a chance to gobble one up if they saw one laying around. How careful will adults be?
For adults who can't stop when they see a plate of brownies........... If one or two is like 1 or 2 alcohol drinks and they are so yummy you just can't control yourself...... not that you actually
want the buzz........... but they taste so damn good, you might go way beyond your intentions. Ingested, they take longer to get an effect so you could overdo it. So yes, I have issues with legalization even tho I voted for it. So far in Oregon, no nightmares since it was legalized.
One of my worst nightmares about pot........ actually quite hilarious, was watching Reefer Madness back in high school. Crazy people were the ones that
made the film, not the ones who consume the pot.
