The help part of the software you get says to pull the plug, turn it off, clean contacts and stuff. That didn't work even with a new cartridge.
But I went to the online tech support and the first one worked. http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/hpsupport/index.pl?r=na Says to pull the color cartridge and then the black cartridge, put them back in then it recognized I had a new cartridge. Funny how the machine can tell the difference between a new cartridge and a refilled cartridge. But it didn't recognize it the first time I put it in. Grrrrrr
Don't they have a chip in them that tells when the cartridge is outdated? Wouldn't a refill set off the outdated cartridge I've heard HP is touchy that way, don't know if it true or not.
