LVP Transition at Sliding Glass Door

There is 1-1/4" to 1-3/8" gap between slab and sliding door.
Please advise on type of transition and placement.

Transition for what?? To lvp I assume by the title. I will go a step further and assume floating? Then why do you need to stop at the foam or the gap. Go all the way to the door and install a q-round, shoe molding, bead of silicone. There is no reason to stop at the frost curtain.

Yes, LVP and floating.
Should I just glue shoe molding to door frame?

I would. Silicone would do the trick just fine and dandy. If you wanna get all fancy, get some vinyl trim for it and it won't ever suffer from moisture.

Ditto to above. I would cut neat and run a bead of silicone. Or glue in a piece of shoe/Q round. Either is fine depending on the look you ( or more importantly, the missus) like.

I glued a piece of 5/8" PVC molding to door frame. Thanks everyone.
