I'm curious as to whether or not anyone has successfully repaired a vinyl sheet floor, while using multiple pieces of vinyl to make the patch.
I have a section of flooring that I want to patch. I've discovered that I can get extra vinly by harvesting sections that are below a few, installed cabinets. The problem is that, any section that I may be able to harvest, is too small to patch the damaged area that I want to fix. This made me wonder if it'd be feasible to cut more than one piece, and use multiple pieces to patch the larger, damaged area. Has anyone been successful in doing something like this? I'd hate to attempt it, only to have it turn out terribly, and to have wasted the only extra vinly that I have.
