My stepmother, me and my sister in my wild days
Somewhere there are pictures of my ex-wife.POLAROID oh ya you could get wild with them
I know that's a real antique photo p Rusty.
He worked at a body shop and a parts store about the time I was born. Like my uncle, he did a very short stint working with grandpa. My dad and uncle were wise men.You don't say much about your father. Was he an installer?
That is sad. I really like being a grandpa. My grandads both died when I was two. My dad was a GC, He did everything except floors. Now I know why. Mom died the day before my 39th birthday, dad two years later. He worked at a body shop and a parts store about the time I was born. Like my uncle, he did a very short stint working with grandpa. My only memories are him driving trucks. He drove truck routes for Coke untill 1970, then Blue Bell, then Grandma's Cookies. He died in a car accident when I was 22. He was 49. Dad taught me about car stuff. He could do everything from replacing the rear main seal in a 55 Chevy 4 banger, to brakes, setting points, but he didn't ever rebuild an engine. He made floor to ceiling cabinets for the laundry room.
He had a Craftsman radial arm saw but not a tablesaw. He's the one that sparked my automotive interest and 'handyman' abilities.
Grandpa greatly enhanced what I can do with my hands because us floor rats do a lot of measuring and fitting.
Work forced dad to move out 275 miles of town. My brother and his wife were about to pay him a visit to tell him he was going to be a grandpa. He never found out...
And what kind of pictures would they be?Somewhere there are pictures of my ex-wife.
Not those kind. And what kind of pictures would they be?
I think dad would have loved grandkids. Neither of my sister nor myself had kids. My brother has two boys. One has two boys of his own, so dad would be a great grandfather now. That is sad. She is ferociousThat is a killer for sure, you can see it in the eyes.
Went to look at a repair tonight. Her dog looked about the same, but light colored. It was less frightening by far. The slightly larger do barked a little but we became bestust buddies before I left. She is ferocious
