Happy Thanksgiving to all of you guys. I'm thankful to have guys I trust to help me when I have silly questions to ask. I'm thankful you don't laugh in my face. Behind my back.... naw, I'm perfectly fine with that.

I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving. We spent it with our grandaughters and their mates. My Lions and Packers won so that was the icing on the cake, Got up to a white deck this morning and my dog is loving it, nose and face to the ground and away she goes.

The evening started off with light conversation and pleasantries with my brothers Mother in-law. Last year I called her Mrs. but since I’ll be joining the ranks of Medicare ( if I get my **** together) I chose to call her by her first name

Some how we got onto Covid lockdowns at the nursing home and how the staff brought the meals to their doorstep. Then I morphed conversations into a question.
“ What was your husband’s favorite
meal “ She said he was fussy and that he gave her a list of ‘ No Go ‘ items. Then I made the association of how amazing the woman were back then. They went out of their way to accommodate their husbands and even the kids like me would benefit.
I guess I dominated the conversation

Anywho here comes the funny part. At the end of the night ( everyone well stuffed with abundance ) We played ‘ Apples to Apples ‘ …. The topic card was ‘ Nasty’
And everyone needs to select a descriptor
that best represents nasty from the seven cards in your hand. My nephew had limited choices, but he did have the word
‘ Feminist ‘ and he chose to play it Of course the women of the group wanted to know who it was from the 10 people, 5 men, 5 women. I said, look for the reddest face in the group of men. he got busted ! and tried to explain it away.
