W 8 to W 8.1

Is it worth the convoluted mess to upgrade? Has anyone done it?

If you are running Win 8 you should upgrade to 8.1

There is talk that 8.2 is coming out soon.

I have a Notebook for school with W 8. It is about a 10 step process to update it.

8.1 is suppose to fix some security holes , and a few bugs . You have to decide if it is worth it.

It's a PITA updating it, but I like the new features. And to quote Ernesto "it is greasy fast".

Just got my 8.1.1 update a couple days ago. I love it. I hated installing 8 on my virtual machine though because of the long process and all the downloading. Took about 4 hours on the vm but my host was quick to install.
