Ok, I was wrong. They delivered. Just woke up to a loud thunk sound of them dropping the package on the porch. Box says FRAGILE. Box looks ok though. It has hand holes so I brought it inside and set it down gently. Will have to open the box in the morning and check it for damage.

That is a good point. I got 3/4" LiquidTite flexible non-metallic conduit. Could I just take the sheathing off of the wires and tape their ends together (so the stay together) or twist them together to make them act as one cable without sheathing? NVM. The electrician who posted a video on Youtube told me not to twist the wires together and said to use the gray sheathed cables inside the conduit. I have 25' of the gray cable stuff. I'll pull all the orange and other colored stuff out and put it in storage.

Looking at the pics again, I'm not certain where the electrical is coming in. There are two pipes coming out of the ground. I think stuff goes down underground from one to go to other areas but I can't remember which, so I'll have to check and make sure.

Edit: I was wrong about the wire I have. I have 15' of indoor romex. oops. Need to see if I have some of the right kind lying around in workshop, sheds, etc.

and now I can't remember if I need 10/3 with ground or 10/2 with ground.

Thanks, Highup. I gleaned from another video that the stuff that isn't rated for outdoors should not be put in conduit-- especially if the conduit is in a wet area. So, I just got the 10/2wg outdoor grade (gray casing) in. My guts hate me today and I'm exhausted-- spent most of the morning either in the bathroom or having to run to the bathroom- and feel like crap. So I will have to organize all of my fittings tomorrow.

Had to go siphon more water out of the cistern to fill a bucket enough to flush Mom's toilet. When the water is back on I'm going to have to deep clean it. Spent 20 to 30min doing that. Then took the truck in for an oil change. I had them look to see if they could figure out why I'm getting ABS and VSA warnings but they couldn't see what was wrong. Said it must be under the hood. They did an oil change (I provided the oil) and they fixed a tire that keeps going flat. They charged for the oil and I reminded them that they fixed the toilet and they said "Eh. It was just something with the valve stem" and refused to charge me for the fix.

My friend figured out why my tire kept rubbing the fender liner and why the CV axle has too much play on the front driver side.. Apparently when the drunk driver hit the truck in 2018 it bent the K frame and the repair guy didn't notice it or didn't want to fix it so he didn't mention it. So the tire sits in too far and the K-frame is bent weirdly. Until it is replaced or fixed, that wheel won't sit right. Sadly, it's too late to get insurance to cover it. I've had that thing into the shop multiple times and no one else seemed to notice what was wrong except my friend. I don't know how hard it is to replace that or how much it would cost-- if it can even be fixed.

Friend will be busy Monday so he won't be able to work on the pump then, but he wants to try working on it afternoon Saturday (after he gets off work) and on Sunday. Electrical work will be Saturday and Sunday will hopefully be the pump and tank part.

Can't remember if I posted my convoluted collage or not.

Will need to grab some pressure treated 2x4s from the local hardware store to mount the sub panel. I'll also grab another 1-1/4" elbow just in case.

Perhaps in the future I can upgrade the type of float switch to something that doesn't get jammed up. I want to put in some damp rated LED lights-- at least one strip-- for lighting. Leaning toward a cheap one from Amazon.

All that electrical stuff is above my capacitor 😜 …. I admire your abilities 👍

So ! I’m stuck with a conundrum at the local bar. I gave her a 10 for a 4.50 beer, and no change appeared 😡 And she’s busier than a one armed paper hanger. What would you do ?

Tough call right there. If I was a simi regular I'd probably let it slide .
She might remember later and apologize next time she saw you.
......or not. 🤔
I'd let it slide.

Darn ! I had to be all MSli assertive and tell her about the mistake, but She got all defensive, saying she always ! Gives the change out right a way. Then she said
“ well I guess I’ll take it out of my kitty “
And I’m like feeling all guilty for being assertive, 😡 …. I guess I’ll have to move into a cave now 😝 ….. On the bright side, I was hanging with a couple, get this ! She’s a MAGA REPUBLICAN BLACK JAMAICAN and he’s a White Liberal. We had great conversations and if they can cohabitate, then I think we should / could be ok 👌 😂

You'll be fine.
They'll be fine.
...she'll gain a better memory, so don't sweat it.
😉

It’s Friday!!!!! Boss came around handing out $100 bills to each of us and told us thank you for the good work. Doesn’t get much better than that.
Was that severance pay? 😱
You leave work taller than when you arrived in the morning. Pretty nice gesture. I'd keep him around for a while. 😉

The only times I ever went to bars I brought bottled water. Always the designated driver and I generally don't drink alcohol unless I'm at home and in small amounts at that. I'm too much of a wet blanket to go out drinking and I don't want to be around people I don't know. Hell, there are some people I do know that I don't want to be around. Was seeing something about some rich family that bought an entire island in the southwest part of Hawaii and was thinking it is a nice idea to be away from people. Only issue would be getting supplies and having to worry about storms. I'd happily build my own landlocked compound with underground bunkers, my own private lake, etc if I had the kind of $$$. Only close friends and family would be allowed in. I'm so antisocial! LOL. Well, those would be the only people. Cats would be welcome. Maybe some dogs. And cows. I want some adorable mini cows.

Don't mind me, I got overheated today. Dealt with a bitchy manager at McDonalds who canceled all of the breakfast orders before breakfast was over for customers who ordered online. Then she stole a double fillet of fish out of my bag and had it replaced with a single when I paid for a double (but I didn't realize what was going on until after we got home and Mom commented that she only got a single). ***** made me wait 15min longer to get my food bc she decided to rip me off and my food was cold by the time I got it. I waited 30min for my food. She didn't even apologize and was rude when she finally handed my food over.

Door lever broke off inside when I was opening the front door. Then bro tells me it broke off awhile back and his stupidass didn't bother to tell me about it so I could replace it. He just put it back on "several times". So I need to get a new door lever. Ugh.

Picked up stuff from hardware store and Walmart to try to fix up the generator so we can at least run fridge and freezer next time power goes out. Would love to figure out how to run the water pump too.

Friend sent me a link to something we can add to the subpanel that will let us run the water and other stuff from the generator. It can be added in after we get stuff setup.

Last couple days I have been setting 24x24 porcelain tile. Good god is my back effed up from that ****! Imagine holding a 10lb weight straight out for 7-8 hours on your knees.

Really starting to feel the pain these days.

Been a couple years since I quit layin floors. I still work but I don’t think I could go back to the fast paced constant up n down all day long again. ****, I think about it before I slowly get down on my knees now. It would be rough to have to go back to tryin to make a buck like that.

My left knee is twice as big as my right knee.

We need the "I Agree" reaction. LOL. I want to see pics!

I didn't realize I forgot to post here yesterday. I was exhausted though. Long story short, we got the water running. The power for everything in the pump house came in through some smurf tubing in the ground and then went to a junction box on the beam above and splintered into different color and gauge wires. There was 10, 12, and 8 all mixed in. We had yellow, gray?, orange, and black. I discovered I derped and didn't realize that the sharkbite fittings I got would only put pex to pex and not pex to pvc for the 1" (but I did have the proper ones for 3/4") so I had to ditch the 1" PEX and fortunately had enough elbows and stuff for PVC runs. I ran out of wire and conduit but this is what my friend got done: Will be adding on more conduit later and will be adding another run of wife through the hole on the left. That will be 12awg straight from the 20A breaker to have some outlets and a 13w LED shop light.

The orange wire (from the belt driven pump) to the gray wire will be put inside a junction box.

I was going to go take more pics but the sky opened up and there is lightning and thunder. Fippy is cool about it but Princess is terrified.
Went to take a shower and the water stopped working on me. It started working again after for some reason though but I'd already dried off. I got rinsed off a little at least. Will have to check the shed to see how things are holding up. Still need to seal the roof up better and make sure the pipe coming out of the cistern isn't still leaking. It was leaking badly but we can't replace it without having someone get inside the cistern and get down to the bottom and turn a fitting. Couldn't get the lid off to get in and someone else would have to be on the outside threading things. I'd wanted to add in one more shutoff on the way to the house, but we didn't have space for it.

Had to spray the leak with flex shot and it seemed to help. I need to go spray more but don't want to go into a metal shed in a thunderstorm.

I did 20x20 porcelain in the living room of my old house. Seeing as how you're 20% taller than me that balances out. Yeah, it was hard to hold the tile out so as to be able to properly drop and set it into the thin set. I just took my time. It was actually a very small room
