This fall, I had blood clots removed from my lungs, a clot filter put in, gall bladder surgery and heart issues. Also some blood problems, very low hemoglobin. You would think I am getting old but I won't be 77 until March. lol

at the time.Gall bladders will make you sick especially with spicy foods, greasy foods, and just a lot of stuff. I was down to eating cheese sandwiches mostly. They did a scope surgery and he said it fell apart coming out.
So after coming apart did they have to open you up and have to clean things up. When I had mine out it was the size of a football. They were if fear of it bursting and the they would have had to just cut my stomach like a flap ant take out my intestines and wash them up and put them back. I was out of the navy 6 months at the time.

What are the downsides of having gallbladder removed.

No he was able to get all the pieces out with scope surgery.

So the wife wants to go out and do stuff with me but she’s not really that good on a bike. No biggie I think to myself, they have e-bikes now. If you can keep your balance, you can ride, they’re that easy. So we went and looked at e-bikes today. She found one she liked and we bought it. Throw the thing in the back of the car and we’re gone, right. Well, we have a small car and the bike shop didn’t think it could safely be put in the back of the car and transported home without damaging it. Me being me, I said heck with it, I’ll ride it home and handed the car keys to my wife.

This is where my mind gets blown. I’ve never ridden an e-bike before. This isn’t one of them super duper ones where you literally don’t have to do anything, this one is a peddle assist model. You still have to peddle but that’s about it. I’m wearing flip flops so you know I’m taking it easy, but lemme tell ya, I turned it up to its highest assist setting and I hauled ass at 28 mph all the way home, while wearing flip flops mind you! The bike shop is 4 miles away and I got home maybe 2 minutes after the wife did. Wow. I’m absolutely impressed cus riding steady at 28 mph is unreal, yet I just did it in flip flops. No standing up and cranking, just sitting and peddling. This bike has a bell on the handle bars AND hauls ass. Damn!

Anyway, I get home and grab my bike and we both go for a ride. Absolutely perfect weather. People out playing volleyball, rowing teams on the water rowing and all kinds of people out doing stuff. Today was a success. The wife had a good time which means I had a good time. 😂

Back to this whole e-bike thing. These things are game changers. Your grandma could ride one of these and be able to keep up. Now I want one.
