I'm also in the 74 to 76 range. But, given some family history, it's not likely I will make it to that, but we'll see.

I got to use the chopsaw again yesterday. The pipe I'd cut was too thin-walled. ID was too large for the satellite pipe. So I had to take a thicker heavier pipe with the same OD down and cut it. Had to rotate it a few times (I stopped cutting, loosened vise, rotated, tightened vise, cut, repeat). Took several minutes and the sparks were flying. Glad I wore good eye protection.

My friend managed to get the pole mounted on the eaves. But per my brother's request but against my wishes, he bent a 2" section of the roof edge to make the pole go up straighter. Dishy McFlatface wouldn't work with the pole at that much of an angle. Works great now. My brother downloaded every game in his Steam library. I downloaded about 20gb of games (sims2, sims3, and sims4) in less than an hour. Download speed was faster than transferring data to a portable drive. My brother is ecstatic. It has some glitches, but it's doing ok. It loses connection every so often but only for a few seconds.
I hope more satellites don't get fried.
People were calling Elon Musk stupid because some of his satellites crashed back down. Said he's a failure. But they don't seem to think about trial and error. His people learn from the mistakes and improve the design.

Having super fast internet without the data restrictions is so freeing.

I'm much younger than the rest of you guys but still feeling old. LOL. Body aches a lot and I'm not looking forward to more deterioration.

Jon, are you able to find a swimming pool or something to work on exercises in? I've heard it can help with low impact muscle exercises. If people here weren't so nasty I'd go to the water aerobics classes my doctor mentioned. But I don't want to be in a public pool full of piss and whatever else. I miss having my own pool. I really need to start doing more back exercises.

I'm currently cooking some yellow rice in the pressure cooker for Mom. She's been wanting it lately but we were out.

That could either be fun or boring or nightmarish. Depends on how the kids behave.
I was in brownie scouts but never made it to girl scouts. Their activities were boring as hell to me. I hung out with the boy scouts instead. Got to go hiking, learn to tie knots, go rappelling off of buildings, etc. In brownie scouts we put colored rocks into jars.

Dang it, now I want some Girl Scout cookies. I love the Samoas. Gotta admit I just buy the imitation ones from the grocery store. The box is as good as gone as soon as I open it. Oreos don’t last long either even though they have that resealable flap. Double stuff takes the cake. I still twist em apart and eat the filling first. My favorite were taffy cookies but I’ll be damned if I haven’t seen them in a long time. Do they still make em?

I have no idea what they have. I always buy the peanut butter ones. Tomorrow will be like "weekend at Bernies" they just need another adult. I will watch a movie on my phone.

zannej I dont think swimming would be a good idea as my immune system is down at the moment
Went to hospital yesterday again after getting up at 4am to take a pill
Got to hospital at 8am after wife had trouble parking the car, they closed one car park so we decided when I was getting close to go home I would ring her to pick me up at the entrance to save parking the car. It is about 500 paces according to my phone of which I have walked lots of times
About 2pm nurse said I had about 15 minutes to go which I kinda thought strange as usually I am there longer, so I rang wife. After that was finished a different nurse started hooking up another bag which was going to take 40 minutes. Rang wife again just as she got to the harbour bridge so she turn around and go home
When I got up to leave the chair I was in all day I wobbled that much they had to get an orderly to get a wheel chair. Walking better today. had enough of getting things shoved up my nose. blood tests. spending all day on drips

Replaster, re-tile and new coping for pool. Last Friday the did the demo. Today they started the 12"x24"x2" travertine bullnose coping.

They say I am getting better what ever that means but not to book a world cruise just yet
Definitely a lot better than early November

Just get better Jon.

... But on the high end of the scale there's only three years difference.
Some people die at 50 and some people died at 110. They have these crazy things called averages.
......I only know you as a cyber criminal....
...I mean cyber friend. 😉 It's either faux pas or I'm losing my memory. 😁
I simply look at life as one step at a time, and if I get hit by a truck tomorrow, or if I live another 15 years and have a sudden heart attack..... Whatever dent that I made in society and hopefully what I did was for the better. Only regrets is that after leaving high School I would have become a longshoreman like my godfather was.
.... can't go back in time, so it is what it is.
It was sad, but interesting the way Limbaugh handled his last year. Cool as a cucumber.
One thing that always bothered him.
His dad never saw his extreme success in life. His dad and I think his grandfather wanted him to become a lawyer....
.... You know, ....old school thinking, a real job.
Rush said on his show one day that his biggest regret in life was his dad never seeing that his son had become successful.
He said the thing he would love most is to be able to take his dad on a ride aboard EIB 1. Brought a tear to my eye the when he said it and to my eye just now. His dad never lived long enough to see his son's enormous success.
I guess you have to do the best you can do now and do it as long as you can. No reason to attempt to be superhuman and defy the odds.
Do the best you can and keep a good attitude. I strongly believe attitude has a lot to do with longevity.
You, Rusty, and Jon need to keep up your attitude or I'm going to come by smack ya upside the head.
