With all the things you older peeps have to deal with, I don’t know whether I should feel good about myself because I’m not there yet or if I should feel like **** cus that’s what I have to look forward too.

C.J. When I started flooring, 50 odd years ago, nobody thought about what damage we were doing to ourselves with the concrete dust, timber dust, cork tile dust which is meant to be pretty bad as the dust from sanding goes into a "gell" with the moisture in ones body blocking your breathing, all the different types of smelly products we use, contact glue etc etc. Is heat bond tape any good for you with your head over it a lot of the day? Nobody knew what a mask was and by the time masks came out it was too late for a lot of people, I can think of a dozen or so in the small number of layers I come in contact with who have had problems with it being to late and non smokers
Smoking doesnt help either :) .
I guess what I am saying is that LOOK AFTER YOURSELVES as it will catch up with you. Its only going to be 5 minutes why use a mask?
The one thing I am glad we have done is travel the world, done most things we wanted to do, as I hear of that many people retire then die before they get a chance to do anything. Met an older retired couple on a cruise who said to me do things before you need the wheel chair or walking frame Everywhere one went there were lots of stairs, steps etc to get into a building. Even trying to get up the gang way onto the ship would be hard work, even though the staff are great
C.J. enjoy your holiday, love to come with you :)

We got just a smidgen of freezing rain and it is just snowing now. Was to get up to 9" so we will see. Got really warm yesterday and threw the night and the 12" of snow we had last week was just in spots this morning. Lot of water around a few basements flooded as the ground is frozen and no where for it to go.

This is the **** I have to drive in. Real heavy, wet nasty ****.
School is closed today but the men are all still out handling their business......PXL_20220218_123444619.jpg
