It would still be a good time to leave. Once done it will only get worse. Tomorrow is a better day.You mean, "You were about 5 minutes from leaving until this happened..."

Wowza... why did you even have to get off the couch? I'd have become her manager and advertising consultant. Those are as good as it gets.
Sooooo, you don’t take your **** and dump it on your neighbors that you don’t like property??? Me neitherI swear this house is jinxed and it’s not just me. Finishing up some railing details today and the very last bullet I was positioning is when the key decided it wanted to break, inside the bullet of course. It’s maybe noon and this literally is the last thing we have to do for the day and we can split. That’s all you had to say and I’m on it cus I gotta get home so I can make a dump run.
I drilled a pilot hole into the broken off key then set my nail punch into the pilot hole and the whole thing pulled out as one. We inserted the cable, tightened it up and hit the road.

I went to the dump this afternoon. I used to roll across the scale about 6800ish empty when I had my metal shelves and every tool under the sun on those shelves. Got that down to 6300. Don’t know why I’m excited cus I sure don’t get any better mileage off of a 500# decrease in weight. In fact I was consistently hitting 15ish MPG when I had more weight in my van than the 14is that I’m currently getting. Had a guy I worked with that had an F250 gasser and he said he got better mileage pulling a trailer than when he wasn’t. That must be some Ford BS but I’m ok with it cus they do ride smooth once you put some weight back there.
I had forgotten how affordable it is to go to the dump here but was quickly reminded. How bout you, what does a trip to the dump cost you? I believe it’s a $2 minimum here
Notice the in n out in 9 minutes, I like that too!

It’s nice to see a prepared master craftsman at work.I’ve decided to put the corners together before they have a chance to mess them up when they’re nailing them up.

I'm too lazy to cope. I cut 45⁰, and use caulk to make it perfect after painting.Thinking about it I know how that corner ended up short. When I measure a room and cut the pieces I work counterclockwise whereas most people think in a clockwise fashion. If you think about it from a working perspective it makes perfect sense. Which side would you rather cope. I’m right handed so coping the right side is easier for me. If you’re left handed you would work clockwise because it would be easier for you to cope the left side.
We’re not coping anything on this job but I still work the same way, counterclockwise. It got nailed up by someone working clockwise. That piece shoulda bumped the base and been short on the other end. The next piece of base would have covered that gap and a dab of caulk would take care of the top. I’ll make sure we’re all on the same page tomorrow.
Good talk.

I was just kidding (I’m a smart ass) about doing that. I actually really like my neighbors.
The county transfer site is literally 2 miles up the road from me. I take the recycling there for free & trash is like $1 a bag…. Even contractor bags that hold 3 regular size trash bags.
Also have an account there for dumping tear out. Just weigh in, scan the number on my window, dump and weigh out. Bill comes monthly.
I'm bringing my trash your way. I'd probably break even on $500 lbs . Two bags of household trash is $16 bucks.I swear this house is jinxed and it’s not just me.
