According to a Dell tech and confirmed by an online geek, W8 has no restore points. I know my daughter's new laptop with W8 has already crashed, it's less than a month old and Dell is sending discs so that we can reload the OS. They say that is the only way to fix it. Glad I don't have W8.

A friend just bought a new laptop . I told him to call them direct , and tell them you want it with win 7 .
