Well, OK then.

If you are bleeding into your intestines, why aren't the doctors recommending surgery to go in and fix the leak?

Boy, similar to a hole in your crankcase on your daily driver, the mechanics don't fix it by just adding more oil. That seems dumb.

You have insurance, so be your best advocate and demand they fix the problem, not just put a band aid on a gashing wound!

You ain't getting out of this easily just to not be a moderator anymore. I don't want the responsibility!

It’s seems strange that they can’t do anything 😳but a quick google search said surgery is not an option 😢 …. Something about a high fiber diet to help, but no real cure 😢 hang tough Rusty

Did you hear about the guy in Australia who was the largest blood donor in the world….. He gave like clock work and helped save many lives….. I hope you’re getting Republican blood Rusty 😉

According to some research 🧐 the chances are good. I copied and pasted a snippet of the results:

Brooks points out that these differences go beyond just what households donate in money. He cites studies showing that conservatives are more likely to do things like donate blood, and to volunteer. Much of this difference he credits to the comparative religiosity of conservatives. The fact that liberals call for government to help others while conservatives feel called to help directly also seems to factor into differences in behavior.

Or, in other words, one group sits on their butts and demand that the government takes care of them, while the other group not only takes care of themselves, but volunteers to help others.

Seems pretty spot on to me.

Rusty, I hope they can come up with a plan to stop the bleeding somehow.

Princess was all agitated last night. Zerged into my bathroom which she never does. Climbed on me shivering like she does during thunderstorms but it wasn't even raining. Didn't want to be under the covers as usual. Kept moving from whatever spot she chose every 2min. Kept me awake bc she would go from leaning up against my back to stomping on my head, to a dog bed in front of my face, to right up against my abdomen and legs, then to my back again, stomp on head, and repeat. Then she wanted to check on Mom twice. Once when Mom was not in bed-- she jumped up on the bed to look and then went to the living room and jumped into her lap for a few minutes. When Mom was sleeping she stood on her hind legs to look at her and then didn't want to leave but also didn't want to stay-- pretending to be a cat I guess-- and finally came back to bed with me and settled down.

Went to Walmart to grab more stuff. I wanted a digital caliper and was going to get one from Harborfreight but found out Walmart had one and its much closer. Same price but different brand. I'm currently under a pile of cats and Princess is sleeping comfortably. My bladder is yelling at me so there are about to be some unhappy cats.

My heart might not make it through surgery. That is why they are testing an experimental shot on me.

Whenever my dad had to go in for a doctor visit and they wanted to give him a shot, I would tell him ‘This is how they turn you into a robot, dad. You know there’s a microchip in there’. He didn’t know how to respond. Not many times in my life that I’ve been able to leave that old man speechless so I kinda enjoyed messing with him a little😁

It’s been a real nice week. I think I worked Monday but that was so long ago that I can’t remember😂 If I did I wasn’t a full day cus I’ve been riding my bike every day. I’ve got about 100 miles in and there’s still another day to go😁

I’ve got a routine now. I start off at the coffee shop. My vampire girl surprises me with some new coffee drink. I think today was a soy milk latte. Whatever, I’ll try it. Maybe I’ll like something and end up ordering it again.

Best part of the coffee shop is the outside seating. You have a great view of the goings on at the local Circle K. I swear Jay and Silent Bob would hang out there and sell weed😂 Always something interesting to watch. Somebody was getting loaded into an ambulance today. Whole Foods is kitty corner so you know there’s a homeless person with a dog chillin out front.

Plenty of benches and whatnot along the paths. I stop and enjoy the scenery from time to time and read the plaques. Thank you, Richard, I enjoyed your bench. One of my favorite stops is at 40th st. There are a few benches there with an awning for shade. I like to watch the airplanes take off. Who doesn’t like watching airplanes. Not much in the way of anything beautiful to look at though. If you do a 180, the dump is right there. Depending on the direction of the wind, you may be smelling garbage juice and want to move along to another spot. I made my way down to the river at one of the weirs. Not too much flow today. It’s supposed to storm tonight so it should be interesting to see how much the flow increase.

I think it’s time for me to find some pizza for lunch and get back home before it starts raining. Too bad the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile doesn’t sell hotdogs cus I always get excited when I see it.

They mess with you growing up, you mess with them growing down. Circle of life? 😁

Used to watch planes land but 20 some years or so ago our little community needed help from the federalies and we now have improved runways, but because of federal funding they imposed federal restrictions. A road that parallels the runway and led to the local boat ramp was closed.... It was now "unsafe". There was a mile long paved sidewalk with benches to sit on and informational wildlife signs to read....... Yup, after 60+ years it was now unsafe to get some exercise on that walking path that bordered the bay, 50 feet away. 🤔
It was a very popular road and many people like me, drove to the boat launch to eat 'launch' and watch the planes and coast guard helicopters practice their craft. It's fun watching airplanes come and go.
.....not anymore, so I use flight radar 24 to a watch now.... 🙄
Thank for keeping me safe, government . 🖕

Tell your wife that we said it's OK if she leaves more often 😁
I like your stories and the accompanying tour photos. 👍

I swear a whistle is the best thing a bicyclist can have while riding in traffic. Those polite sounding handlebar bells are fine for a bike path and that’s about it. Nobody is paying attention anymore because they’re all on their phones. You have to get their attention or risk getting hit.

Kinda like loud pipes on a motorcycle. As obnoxious as they may seem, loud pipes save lives.
