It's been a while since I made a post. Projects for me have pretty much come to a screeching halt. We found out in December 2023 that my wife was pregnant, completely unplanned, but I do know what caused it though 🤭. August 2024 we had a beautiful baby girl. All of our attention has been on her since. I did manage to squeeze in a couple small projects last year, helping the neighbors out with their kitchen floor. What an experience that was

Congratulations 🎉
It's been an unusual few years for me, mostly slow, with some odd projects.
I miss the days of normal jobs, normal weekly routines and sprinkled with predictability. Times have changed and it will certainly be interesting as this next year moves forward. I'm feeling very good about it.

You think you were tired, pre-baby oh boy you’re in for a rude awakening on the amount of energy that is required, taking care of a toddler. I remember those days vividly, dragging my butt outside to make a snowman or take her sledding or to the park and she would say daddy wake up and push me 😜 really try to monitor your stress level and sleep patterns so that you are prepared but that’s probably too late you needed that advice earlier. Is this your first child?

As for the neighborly kitchen floor projects, anytime you help Family or Neighbors they always have one expectation, which is not the professional one but somehow we have to figure out how to meet that expectation and swallow our professional pride. If you get a chance, in between diaper changes, bottles and reading nursery rhymes , fill us in on the details of those neighborly projects. And any questions for us old parents. 😁
