Years ago, I was a cop in a city that had one of the national movie theater chains. I became good friends with the manager and we had a chat one day. He mentioned that his popcorn was worth its weight in gold. He explained that when they price out the sales price of popcorn per pound (kernels) versus the price of gold at the time, the sale of the popcorn per pound was more expensive.

About 95% of our public housing tenants are white. I did all the flooring there for 10 years. I have had to recarpet the same apt. 4 times in a year. Some qualify for more assistance than the apt. costs, so they get a check for the difference. In other words, not only is their rent free, they get paid to live there.
